How the business gained success

The first year was very exhausting for Tom. In addition, it was not good all in term of profit and Tom even couldn’t cover the expenses of the due date bills

As it always, the dawn comes after the dark. This dawn came to Tom at one of the weekends. Because at weekends all the restaurants and food shops do not provide services, and the students of the dorms nearby has to eat from Tom’s restaurant. That day was the lucky day for who has gained extra 50% profit to Tom

After that, Tom had bought two new stores at the same town and he wanted to call them Dominick’s as well but the previous owner of Dominick’s has refused so Tom has to come out with a similar name.One day, a delivery man came back and told Tom. I have found the name for you – Domino’s Pizza- which Tom liked very much because Italian background which suits the Italian origin of the pizza and also denotes the Dominoes Pieces that can be used in the shops’ logo.

Initially Tom has put three dots on the logo stands for the three shops. The idea was to add one dote when a new shop is added to the business but finally this idea was not applied because of the dramatic increasing number of new shops.

Tom's three pizza shop was the most overcrowded in the town with sale of 5000 pizza a week. Tom was very concerned in making the pizza , he even hired blind employee to taste and judge the quality of his dough, and he used to survey people opinions about the pizza from time to time. In addition to that, he build a strong relationship with his work team which was one of the main factors of his success in his work.
